As the Sr Advisor Industrial Energy Conservation you will be tasked to strategically manage a portfolio of customers to help them identify opportunities, quantify energy savings and enable execution of energy efficiency projects at their facilities. As part of the Enbridge’s Demand Side Management (DSM) group, your role will require a balance of technical and interpersonal skillsets coupled with time management to build long-term trust with customers to achieve natural gas usage reduction targets.

Establish and build customer relationships aimed at building long-term trust and commitment from the customer to achieve natural gas usage reduction targets
Assist customers with the identification, business screening and technical evaluation of potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through basic building and thermal system audits in pursuit of natural gas conservation
Develop high-level business justification cases to help customers make decisions to proceed with projects. This may include high level feasibility studies to quantify the costs and benefits of recommended measures
Influence customers to commit to project implementation
Prepare the initial scope-of-project documentation, including product selection and related installation details
Provide technical assistance and team coordination to customers to ensure successful project implementation
Who You Are
You have the following qualifications:
Engineering Degree required, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
7+ years of project engineering, consulting, or project management in industrial environments
Proven skills in leading and influencing without explicit authority
Proven skills in time management
Curious and eager to learn about industrial facilities and their process operations
Proven skills to operate independently but work within a Team of like-minded professionals
Energy Management certification (such as Certified Energy Manager) is preferred
Membership in Professional Engineers of Ontario or similar professional organization is preferred
