We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Capital Management and Technical Services Team, with duties as follows.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Capital Management team
- Working with and supporting Project Managers with capital project approvals, purchase orders, reporting, invoicing, budgeting, and other administrative tasks
- Support the department in effectively and consistently delivering consolidated project status reporting
- Assist with regular project forecasting exercises and annual capital budget process
- Assemble, review, and maintain document storage (ie. contracts, close-out documents)
- Assist with coordinating contractor pre-qualification and on-going vendor management
- Work closely with other Capital Team members to ensure continuity of expectations and deliverables
- Provide data collection, analysis and visualizations to support the development and reporting of project evaluation frameworks
- Facilitate working sessions with other business units and functional groups to conduct analysis for project portfolio
- Assist in the development of information and communication materials
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Competencies
- Position requires 3+ years in project administration/analyst/coordination experience, supporting medium to large construction, development, or servicing projects
- Diploma or university degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience
- PMP designation would be an asset
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a multi-disciplined environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- High attention to details and provide accuracy on projects
- Ability to work independently as well as be part of a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Share Point and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis and creation of visualizations
- Working knowledge or willingness to train to obtain working knowledge of Yardi, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office Tools
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
