Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a New Initiatives Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management Team on a 6-month contract basis (ending June 30th, 2025). This position will be based out of our Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke, Ontario and offers a hybrid work schedule (3-days a week on-site, 2-days a week work-from-home).
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Coordinating New Initiatives projects to ensure timely deliveries and seamless execution of the projects
- Managing the flow of goods throughout the supply chain lifecycle to ensure delivery of the production objectives against aggressive timelines, including managing risks and issues that arise.
- Providing weekly updates to the Product Development and Launch team on projects status, including risks associated to New Initiatives projects and solutions to mitigate risks and ensure projects remain on time and within budget.
- Collaborating with internal cross-functional departments (Supply Chain, Regulatory, Validation and Technology Transfer, QA, Production, Transportation) and contract manufacturers (TPMs) to meet required quantities by required delivery dates for new product supplies.
- Generating weekly and monthly reports on New Initiatives project KPI’s and completing data analysis for tracking, identifying and escalating business critical issues that may affect project timelines as necessary.
- Coordinating international expansion activities for production while collaborating with relevant teams to optimize supply chain processes in new markets.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of Master data related to New Initiatives projects.
- Maintaining the MRP settings within Microsoft D365 to align with operational strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the MRP system.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration or a supply chain focus.
- Direct working knowledge of production, supply chain management, inventory control and transportation management.
- Exceptionally strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel. Advanced Access and/ or SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills internally and externally.
- System and data knowledge of ERP Production Planning and Materials Management modules considered an asset. D365 Finance & Operations experience is a plus.
