Work you'll do
As the Technology Standards and Compliance coordinator, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining standards across various areas, including support, end user experience, Linux, asset management, and print services. You will work with our internal stakeholders, organize and chair community of practice calls and gather inputs for new and existing standards. You will facilitate steering committee calls and ensure that our shared services adhere to all compliance requirements. This role is vital for driving excellence and consistency in our technology operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Standards Creation and Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain standards for support, end user experience, Linux, asset management, and print services.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure standards meet business needs and industry best practices.
- Regularly review and update standards to align with evolving technologies and organizational requirements.
Stakeholder management:
- Organize and chair community of practise calls/steering committees to oversee the development and implementation of technology standards.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making processes, and action plans within the committees.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives across all committee members.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure all shared services comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to compliance processes and standards adherence.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for service improvement through data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and technology advancements.
Innovation and Best Practices:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, integrating relevant practices into our service delivery framework.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, standards creation, or compliance roles.
- Proven experience in organizing and leading steering committees or similar governance bodies.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and industry regulations relevant to technology services.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO/IEC 20000) are a plus.
The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
