Summary
The Distribution Maintenance and Repair Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Distribution and Depot teams with building maintenance and repair, capital projects and facility relocation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and track project milestones, risk and action plans. Travel (75% time allotment) is required as you will need to be on site to oversee activities. You will required to present capital investment plans and justification to the Capex Steerco for approvals. You will be expected to manage project and costs within budget. Also, to trance and communicate project status updates as required. Additionally you will support the development of long-term building maintenance and repair strategies. Support local leaders in developing future budget requirement. You will ensure facilities meet our FSQ program structural standards.

Responsibilities
Responsible to support the Distribution and Depot operational leads for assigned projects such as (but not limited to):
- Preventive Maintenance
- Source national / local vendors to support regular PM work required at each facility
- Scheduling and planning of PM work.
- Review of recommendations, plan to address PM recommendations and tracking of all documentation;
- Building Maintenance & Repair
- Facilitate ad-hoc repairs at facilities; assigns responsibilities
- Rate and prioritize required repairs based on severity / risk to consumer experience based on our FSQ program
- Ensure Contractors complete work in a timely manner supporting in priority sequence and on time
- Capital Investment
- Define project definition and scope
- Secure necessary quotes
- Present to senior leadership (Steerco) for review and approvals
- Coordinate work and oversee project
- Building relocation/upgrades
- Support new location/ facility options
- Develop action plan and project budget
- Communication with various cross functional teams on project timelines and action items
- Vendor Management
- Work with procurement to secure vendors to meet specific business needs both nationally and regionally
- New vendor onboarding and set up in SAP
- Maintain vendor contact list
- Scorecard vendors on costs, quality and timeliness of completion of work.
- Process invoices and track costs for period reporting
- Support project planning with development of scope, applicable templates, action and risks logs
- Provide manager with regular updates of key upcoming milestones and risk callouts
- Identify and develop preliminary plans to mitigate risk from likely obstacles and objections
- Conduct various analysis and assessments for assigned projects and programs
- Analyze data and project information to identify critical areas for improvement and corrective actions
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field
- 3+ years of relevant project management experience in a distribution and warehousing environment is preferred
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time to all Depots and Distribution Centers in the Eastern regions
- Strong organization, problem solving and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of financial reporting
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Passion to thrive in a constantly changing environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in both English and French is necessary
