About the opportunity
The Examination Coordinator will be responsible for the Continuing Education item banking management and coordination; examination booklet printing/shipping; candidate response retrieval and reconciliation; marking center management; results appeals and administration for assigned examinations.
This hybrid role will be aligned to CPA Canada’s Toronto location. The targeted annual salary range for this position is $62,000 to $72,000 and is commensurate with experience.
What you'll do
- Creating examinations and items within the examination software environment, which includes updating and editing the item bank pool.
- Create paper and electronic versions of the examination within the examination software and coordinate with the professional staff
- Coordinating and dispersing of examination material to provinces across Canada.
- Test examination files, post for student download and archive once examinations end
- Reconcile candidate responses with attendee lists and investigate missing files
- Obtain examination appeal requests and transfer to appropriate staff member
- Create examinations in the marking center management system including candidates and marker profiles
- Upload candidate responses in the marking center management system
- Provide marking centre administrative support by managing and coordinating the marking center management system for all markers and professional staff.
- Other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
What we're looking for
- University or College degree is strongly preferred
- Previous experience or understanding of workflow projects
- Exposure to examination assessment procedures and processes
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines and document procedures
- Proven analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work outside normal 9-5 hours (includes weekends as required)
