Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: $22.46 - $28.08 per hour (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Status: Temporary Full Time

Position Summary
As a member of the Movement Disorders team, the Administrative Assistant I will exercise some judgment or decision-making to provide administrative and clerical services, in support of administrative and/or other professional personnel on the team.
Duties
- Providing word processing/typing services for assigned personnel
- Performing reception responsibilities and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Triaging referrals
- Maintaining written and/or electronic calendar/schedules
- Modifying and maintaining electronic and paper information filing/retrieval methods, systems and/or formats
- Performing routine budgetary/billing/invoicing support functions
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade XII (12) or recognized equivalent
- Completion of a recognized medical or business post secondary secretarial arts program at the diploma level
- Two (2) years related administrative support experience required
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and use good judgment in assessing difficult situations
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous on-the-job computer/word-processing, database and spreadsheet software experience
- Experience in a Microsoft Office environment
- Experience working in a health care environment, an asset
- Experience with Epic, preferred
