We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong background in Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to join our clients team on a 6-month contract, with potential to go permanent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the unique needs of financial services organizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions while adhering to Salesforce best practices. This position is offered on a hybrid basis, and requires the successful applicant to work on-site 3-days per week in Burnaby, BC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, specifically tailored to Financial Services Cloud.
- Create and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and other Salesforce components.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Implement Salesforce security controls, including role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Optimize and enhance Salesforce workflows, validation rules, process builders, and approval processes.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Proficient in data modeling, integration techniques, and Salesforce API usage.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with financial services processes and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II and Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of other Salesforce clouds like Service Cloud or Experience Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) or other integration platforms.
