Our Team
You will be part of DarkVision’s dynamic team of software and hardware engineers, collaborating with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Our innovative team is committed to pushing the boundaries of industrial imaging technology, leveraging cutting-edge advancements to deliver revolutionary solutions.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team in an agile project management environment.
- Develop microcontroller-based firmware libraries to enhance hardware capabilities.
- Create ultrasonic image capture software using C++ on an embedded Linux platform.
- Optimize embedded systems for superior performance and power efficiency.
- Engage in continuous learning and development in areas like network programming, IoT technologies, and DSP algorithms.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in C++ 11/14 programming.
- Experience with low-level device programming.
- Proven ability to optimize algorithms for performance.
- Familiarity with Yocto and cross-compilation toolchains.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in embedded Linux development, including bootloader and kernel driver configuration.
- Skills in interfacing with hardware devices and low-level interfaces.
- Knowledge of video encoder codecs and pipelines.
- Expertise in DSP, GPU, and SIMD algorithm development and optimization.
- Background in image processing, computer vision, and graphics programming.
General Salary Range
For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 to $150,000 per year.
