Job Summary:The Marketing and Operations Lead will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our marketing strategy, managing events and projects, supporting supply chain establishment, connecting with and responding to customer inquiries, and driving business development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a blend of marketing expertise and operational savvy who is eager to contribute to our fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Branding
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage and digital marketing campaigns, content creation, social media, SEO, and email marketing.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics, prepare reports, and optimize campaigns for improved results.
- Coordinate with external agencies and media outlets for public relations and brand partnerships.
Event & Project Management
- Plan and oversee company events, including logistics, budgeting, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Manage timelines and resources for marketing projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Supply Chain & Operations Support
- Assist in setting up and managing an efficient supply chain network.
- Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners to streamline product delivery and inventory management.
Customer Service Support
- Provide high-quality customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform marketing and operational improvements.
Business Development & Operational Activities
- Support business development efforts through market research, relationship building, and strategic planning.
- Take initiative in handling operational projects that support overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or a related field; or relevant experience in marketing/content creation. Startup experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and comfort with content creation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, resourceful, independent, and self-driven approach to problem-solving.
Working Conditions
- Primarily remote work, with occasional in-person meetings and events in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Standard full-time hours (30-40 hours per week) with some flexibility required for events or special projects.
Compensation & Benefits
