We are currently recruiting for a Casual 24-Hour Shift Personal Support Worker to assist a female employer with Cerebral Palsy, providing personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.
The employer enjoys playing video games, painting, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and watching reality TV and true crime documentaries!
No experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
Location:
- Vancouver (Near Charleson Park)
Shifts & Hours of Work:
- Saturday or Sunday
- Start time at 8 AM or 9 AM
Compensation:
- $300 flat rate per 24-hour shift
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- All aspects of personal care including showering, dressing, and bathroom care
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Light housekeeping duties
- Safely transferring the client using a ceiling lift
Required Qualifications:
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with a pet dog
- Driver's License is preferred
- Non-smoker
- Must be easy-going, as the client prefers someone who can take directions
