Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Familiarity with delivery jobs is expected as it is a fast pace environment
- Experience in freight handling or logistics is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
- Excellent time management skills with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
