This is a full time permanent opportunity based out of our Toronto Support Centre Mondays through Thursdays and Fridays are work from home. Reporting into the Manager, Real Estate you will be responsible for overseeing various leasing coordination activities and will work closely with all team members of the Real Estate department as well as other cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Managing the lease renewal tracker to ensure key dates and deliverables are met, including extraction of key information from lease database (Visual Lease)
- Coordination with the leasing and legal teams on the drafting and execution of LOI’s, leases, lease amendments and other lease-related documentation
- Collection of post-acquisition documentation
- Coordination of monthly lease renewal meetings and delivery of subsequent renewal notice letters
- Managing landlord insurance certificate requests
- Managing weekly Real Estate Team meetings
- Supporting with ad hoc property and landlord disputes
- Supporting the lease administration team with lease database updates, rental payment inquiries and disputes
- Supporting the leasing team with ad-hoc projects, as required
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years in a corporate real estate role, preferably with a large, national tenant and/or landlord
- Post-secondary Education in Real Estate, Business, Commerce or other relevant degree
- Experience reviewing and interpreting complex lease documents
- Excellent time-management and administration skills with a high-level of attention to detail
- Ability to think outside the box and effect change in a rapidly growing organization
- Professional demeanour and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and balance multiple demands and priorities independently
- Bilingualism in French and English would be considered an asset
