Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated
Group Benefits Assistant whose core functions will include printing documents, managing both paper and electronic mail, and various forms of filing. This role involves providing exceptional customer service for regional groups across Canada as well as providing administrative support to the Group Benefits team. The ideal candidate will possess prior administrative support experience, have high attention to detail and demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of clients.
The successful candidate will be required to work from the office 5 days per week.
Administrative Duties
What You'll Do Here:
- Print and manage documents.
- Handle both paper and electronic mail efficiently.
- Perform various filing tasks, maintaining organized records of all interactions and transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth communication and efficient problem-solving.
- Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvements within administrative functions.
- Proactively suggest enhancements to improve the overall client experience.
Compliance
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring that all interactions and transactions are conducted ethically and in line with company policies..
Inquiry Resolution
- Utilize your knowledge to effectively address client questions, concerns, and requests.
- Ensure that each interaction leaves clients feeling supported and valued.
What You Bring To The Table
Experience: Prior experience in an administrative support or customer service role is essential, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences.
Bilingualism: Proficiency in both English and French will be considered an asset, but is not a requirement.
Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage printing, mail, greetings, and filing tasks efficiently.
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze client inquiries, identify underlying issues, and provide appropriate solutions or escalate matters as necessary.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
