Personal Assistant to Tech Entrepreneur

Location: Toronto, ON

Job type: Full Time (M-F; plus overtime weekend requests for availability)

Job Description:

The role of this personal assistant position requires giving day-to-day support to an entrepreneur and investor in the technology space, and to his wife. As his family personal assistant, you will offer support across both business and personal needs. The role includes managing everyday tasks for the businesses and for the family, running errands, and maintaining overall organization of the family home. This CEO has a heavy travel schedule, and his family needs help while he is away.

Expectations include being able to travel with the family when needed.

This job description represents a minimum guide for the position and does not limit the candidate’s responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Business:

Financial organizational tasks (example: coordinating with bookkeepers, uploading and tracking invoices)
Conducting research on various topics as needed (trips, companies, etc)
Day to day tasks (example: dealing with returns/purchases, dropping off cheques)
Office organization (example: making sure supplies are stocked, fridge/coffee stations are stocked)
Manage calendar (adding events as needed)
Scheduling appointments
Household tasks (example: collect mail, track wine)

Personal:

Perform family/personal errands (example: dry cleaning, picking up prescriptions)
Childcare help (example: driving kids to programs, picking kids up from school, babysitting, playing with the 3 kids)

Requirements:

Available Monday through Friday on a regular basis, and flexible with additional hours as needed, including weekends and evenings
Valid G Driver’s License is a MUST
Criminal and credit checks will be required for this role
Excellent organization skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel to the United States
