The
Marketing Specialist, Digital and Web supports Tayco and BRC by developing, executing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns and graphic design under the guidance of the Director of Marketing and Communications. Key responsibilities include creating graphics and layouts for email campaigns and brochures, maintaining and optimizing the Tayco website (SEO/SEM), analyzing campaign data to identify trends, and preparing reports. Working collaboratively with the Marketing Specialist, Content Creation, this role requires expertise in digital creation, campaign strategy, and graphic design. The ideal candidate will drive marketing automation, monitor campaign performance, and provide insights to meet KPIs effectively.
Requirements
Strategic Thinking
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for BRC and Tayco, including lead-generation campaigns, drip campaigns, gated content, and product promotions
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools to ensure KPIs are met
- Design and launch new product marketing materials and initiatives
- Create effective email marketing strategies with optimal timing and layouts
- Enhance Tayco's brand and improve marketing collateral
- Stay updated on online marketing trends and evaluate program efficiency and accuracy
Digital/Graphic Design
- Design graphics for digital and print materials, such as brochures, sales sheets, presentations, and social media
- Collaborate with the Content Creator to develop visuals for e-blasts and infographics
- Support Tayco's Look Book creation and update price books for Tayco and BRC
Web
- Lead SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Manage and update Tayco and BRC websites for optimal user experience
- Analyze and report website, e-blast, social media, and campaign data to refine strategies
- Generate lead reports and manage email lists using tools like Salesforce
- Create new website pages and conduct detailed client data analysis
Additional Support
- Assist marketing and sales teams at events and tradeshows
- Provide graphic design support for Woodlore projects
- Conduct keyword gap analyses for Tayco and BRC websites to improve search rankings
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in marketing, advertising, sales, or business administration
- 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on graphic design, digital marketing, and SEO
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Familiarity with MS Office and Salesforce
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, and CMS (an asset)
- Strong understanding of online marketing principles and practices
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including advertising script writing
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills
- High attention to detail, quality standards, and meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, absorb feedback positively, and learn new concepts quickly
- Energetic, self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable
- Effective communicator across all organizational levels
