Commercial Executive

We are searching for a Commercial Executive to join our Commercial Team in Toronto. The Commercial Team is responsible for the monetization of the ClearScore platform through B2B partnerships with over 20 of the most credible and innovative financial service providers in Canada.
As Commercial Executive, you will be a driver of performance for our business and that of our partners. You will play a key role in building deep relationships with the most exciting FinTech's and credit providers in Canada as well as building deep, data-driven understanding of the drivers of growth in our marketplace. You will partner collaboratively with our external partners and our internal product team to continual optimize our conversion funnel. You will bring strategies to life from conception to in-market delivery, measuring their impact through analysis, testing and monitoring, ultimately being accountable for both customer and financial outcomes. You will collaborate with teams across disciplines to capitalize on commercial opportunities in a highly agile environment. You will bring an analytical mind, an entrepreneurial attitude, a consultative approach and a lot of proactivity.
What will you do:
- Day to day contact for our partners, covering marketplace performance, revenue reporting and ongoing initiatives
- Use our rich dataset to develop a robust understanding of our marketplace dynamics, continually monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for ClearScore and it's partners
- Coordinate with the Marketing and CRM team on the ideation, creation, partner sign-off and performance optimisation of commercial campaigns
- Build deep relationships with our lending partners with the goal of understanding their ambitions and challenges. Work collaboratively to optimise the availability and accessibility of their products for ClearScore users
- Work with the Product team to optimise the marketplace experience for ClearScore users
- Support the wider Commercial Team on Tech resource prioritization by forecasting the value of new initiatives for ClearScore users, partners, and revenue
- Support the wider Commercial Team in preparing reports for partner quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- Work with the Analytics team on complex data-related questions where you are unable to self-serve
You're a fit for the role if you present most of the following:
- A track record of high achievement both at work and in academic performance
- Passion for analytical problem solving, and an ability to use creativity and initiative in pursuit of these goals
- Ambitious, comfortable with ambiguity and ready to take on a lot of ownership quickly
- A growth mindset with a passion for learning
- Curiosity, ability to spot trends and anomalies in the data and figure out what the drivers are
- Previous work experience in any of the following would be beneficial, but not a requirement:
- Strategy consulting
- A commercially focused and client-facing environment such as relationship / partner / account management
- Relevant work in a consumer finance, fintech or B2B tech company

Our Hybrid Model
We embrace a dynamic hybrid work environment that balances flexibility with collaborative in-person experiences. Our approach is designed to foster innovation, team connection, and individual productivity.
- Levels 1-5: Minimum 2 days per week in-office
- Level 6 and above: Minimum 3 days per week in-office
