Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Yard Staff-Loader Operator (Part-Time) who will be based in Toronto, Ontario.
Individual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Here’s how:Base salary + paid overtime Catered meals at auction time ResponsibilitiesHold and maintain a valid, clean driver’s licenseClimb on, off and under large equipment and trucksWork outside year-round, no matter the weatherWork overtime, including weekend hours, at 4 onsite and 1-2 offsite auction sales. You can expect to work extra hours for 2-3 weeks prior to each sale, during each sale, and for 1-2 weeks after each saleTravel as required to other auction sites within the regionOperate all types of heavy equipment and trucksHelp set up equipment in the yard for auctionsHelp customers load their equipment purchases, and answer their questions related to the yard
Qualifications Experience operating heavy machineryAble to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an assetGood spoken and written English is requiredGood computer skills and able to learn new programs quicklyA track-record of working safely, and helping others work safely, tooYou must be able to relate really well with customers and team membersYou like to work in a team, helping out wherever needed; but you can also self-start and work on your ownYou're organized, and can handle lots of tasks at onceA high level of attention to detailYou like to work hard, but still have fun on the job
