Electrical Project Coordinator

Your New Role
As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will provide support to the Project Manager and site staff on various projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to the Project Manager and other members of the Project Management department
- Generating RFIs issued by subcontractors or vendors and submitting them to the General Contractor
- Preparing preconstruction audits and identifying all RFIs, capturing any work considered extra to the contract
- Preparing and reviewing submittals from subcontractors or vendors and submitting them to the General Contractor
- Logging all incoming and outgoing submittal traffic
- Following up with appropriate parties to obtain status updates on submittals, drawings, and outstanding documents
- Maintaining electronic and hard copies of all documents
- Working with contractors to follow up on submitted requests
- Submitting all required shutdown requests
- Assisting with Quality Control Documents
- Communicating with supervisors and subtrades
- Performing other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Education including CET/Electrical degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator role or equivalent
- Excellent time management and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Accubid experience, or desire to spend time learning Accubid software to aid in change notices.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
