IQ PARTNERS has teamed up with a leading law firm, located in the heart of Toronto's Financial District, to source a Receptionist to join their team.
This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in an industry with endless opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to white-glove service, an ability to build relationships with a variety of different people, and sharp attention to detail.
The hours for this position are 7:30AM-3:30PM.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greet guests warmly, let the right people know when clients arrive, help with directions to the boardroom, handle inquiries, and pass along any client requests to technical assistants as needed.
- Help keep the office secure by managing passcards (issuing temporary cards, handling lost or damaged ones), logging visitors in the system, and following the company's security procedures.
- Lend a hand with tasks like photocopying and scanning whenever clients need assistance.
- Answer internal and external calls, direct them to the right person, and help with inquiries or redirect questions as necessary.
- Stay in the loop on boardroom operations and report any issues to the right team members. Assist with bookings, emails, phone calls, and switchboard tasks when needed.
- Maintain smooth communication by answering and directing internal and external calls and helping with inquiries.
- Take details from cold calls accurately and promptly pass them to the right department.
What You Bring:
High school education preferred, with at least one year of experience in a receptionist or switchboard role. Experience in legal or professional services is a plus!
