POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technical Administrator will play a crucial role in preparing and issuing new business, endorsements, and renewal documents for our Auto department to ensure smooth operations of our technical administration processes. RESPONSIBILITIES
Document Processing:
- Efficiently process Automotive policy documents in Applied Epic, including declaration pages, policy wordings, extensions, endorsements, and warranties.
- Maintain, update, and organize correspondence in Applied Epic as necessary, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and manage various reports for the business, including, but not limited to, renewal reports, commission reports, and AR reports.
- Reconcile commission earnings for different Auto departments.
- Stay up to date with renewal letters and renewal reports, cross referencing policy data to make sure everything is being handled promptly.
Collaboration & Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Automotive Insurance Advisors and Branch Managers to assist with various Applied Epic-related tasks.
- Work closely with the accounting department to correct and identify discrepancies.
Time Management & Deadline Adherence:
- Consistently meet all deadlines to ensure the timely delivery of documents and services to our clients.
- Serve as a backup for other Technical Administrators when needed.
Other duties and responsibilities within the scope of this position, as required by the business.
REQUIREMENTS
- College Diploma in any field is an asset.
- 1+ years of experience in administration work is preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive insurance administration or a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software such as Applied Epic or other similar systems is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Effective time management and task-switching abilities.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and maintain the required quality of work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Willingness to adapt to changes and embrace new challenges.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
