Job Title: Server
Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Server to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking and delivering orders, handling payments, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to work flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on menu items
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of orders and address any customer concerns or special requests
- Upsell additional menu items or specials to increase sales
- Assist with dessert preparation
- Prepare and serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Perform opening and closing duties, including mopping, sweeping, and deep cleaning
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Smart Serve Certification is a must.
- Amazing personality and great smile.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner. Ability to speak basic Mandarin.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
