Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have some automotive knowledge, working knowledge of Quickbooks, inventory management protocols/software & other integrating apps.
In this role, you will be providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in managing transactions and assisting customers with their needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Handle credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Answer phone calls professionally, addressing customer questions or directing them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with inventory management, including re-ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with Quickbooks / inventory management preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider range of clientele.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Pay: $16.55-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
