Calendar Description: A lecture and laboratory course providing an overview of the anatomy and physiology of plants and animals, population biology, ecology and biodiversity. Note: that both BIOA01H3 and BIOA02H3 must be completed prior to taking any other Biology course.
Qualifications Includes: ability, academic qualifications, suitability for the position and appropriate background in the subject/specialty. Strong background in plant biology, animal physiology and ecology required.
Preferred Qualifications: Multiple courses completed as an undergraduate student or graduate student in the subject area, specifically included a minimum of one laboratory.
Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
Duties for the position may vary and include:preparation for in person classes at the UTSC campus, demonstrating of laboratories, marking lab reports virtually and in person, and recording marks. SIAs must attend mandatory meetings that may be at the UTSC campus. Specific duties are defined by the instructor in charge of the course. Please note duties are performed in person at the UTSC campus.
