We are looking for a Receptionist / Mail Clerk to work at our head office in Concord. The successful candidate will provide general administrative and clerical support to the group of companies in mail clerk functions and reception relief duties. This is the perfect opportunity for an entry-level administrator!
This role will be responsible for incoming mails, sorting mails by department, location, or category (e.g., invoices, notices, personal), stamp and record date of receipt and sender’s name. Deliver mail and packages throughout office to appropriate individuals or departments. Should be able to operate postage meters and scales and order couriers when required. Track mailroom supplies (e.g., envelopes, stamps, address labels)
The incumbent will also need to provide daily back up reception support for reception areas, greet all visitors and customers with professional courtesy. Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization. Answer telephone calls, screen, and direct calls to the right personnel. Deal with queries over the phone and in person and provide, take, and relay messages and provide information to callers.

Education and Experience
- A High school diploma or Completion of college, or other business administration courses are an asset.
- Proven experience as a Mail Clerk, Office Clerk, Receptionist preferred.
- Experience in multiple line switchboard environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet is required.
- Having strong keyboard skills is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Typical office hours: Monday to Friday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Must have the ability to work extended hours as early as 7:30am and as late as 6:00pm (occasionally).
- Requires a moderate amount of walking and lifting
- Requires a moderate amount of sitting for prolonged periods of time while using the computer and headset.
