Job Overview
Stewandy Cleaners Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Business Development Specialist to lead our efforts in expanding our client base, increasing market share, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, and marketing, with experience in the cleaning or service industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and executing marketing campaigns to promote our cleaning services, commercial & residential.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in both residential and commercial cleaning services.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, generating leads, and conducting cold outreach.
- Partnerships: Build relationships with local businesses, property managers, and other stakeholders to increase referrals and establish long-term partnerships.
- Client Retention: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business through regular follow-ups and feedback.
- Sales Goals: Set and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with regular reporting on performance metrics.
- Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate contracts and service agreements that align with both client needs and company profitability.
Marketing
- Campaign Development: Design and execute marketing campaigns that promote Stewandy Cleaners' services across various platforms, including social media, email, and local advertising.
- Brand Awareness: Enhance the visibility and reputation of Stewandy Cleaners in the local market by developing a strong brand presence and participating in community events.
- Promotions and Offers: Develop seasonal promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to attract and retain clients.
- Marketing Materials: Create and maintain sales collateral such as brochures, presentations, and flyers to support sales efforts.
Market Research and Analysis
- Industry Trends: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales and marketing strategies.
- Customer Insights: Gather and analyze client feedback and market data to identify areas for service improvement and new business opportunities.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing strategies that are competitive, attract clients, and ensure profitability.
Team Collaboration
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and high-quality service delivery.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales forecasts, client acquisition progress, and marketing performance.
- Training: Train and mentor junior sales or marketing team members as needed.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, and marketing, preferably in the cleaning or service industry.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a client base.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and pitch effectively to both small and large audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics.
- Customer-Centric: Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience using digital marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with online advertising platforms like Google Ads and social media marketing.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the cleaning or service industry, Manufacturing etc.
- Experience with local business marketing and knowledge of the GTA and area.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong network in the commercial or residential real estate sector.
