Who we need
The
Intern, New Business Administration will be accountable for handling the data entry processing of applications for financial institution line of business. Your tasks will be completed following general instruction and in adherence with defined internal policies and procedures. You will be able to work at a rapid pace and have excellent typing skills.
What you will do
Manage insurance application data entry;
Handle outbound calls to vendors, lenders as part of the clean-aping process;
Place paramedical orders with vendors, and index results to underwriting work management system;
Process departmental return mail;
Support the team with any other administration work as required.
What you will bring
The experience. Customer service and communication experience.
The education. Currently in a post-secondary education.
The skills. Excellent communication, time management and organization skills. Ability to prioritize, to be flexible and work in a team environment. Flexible and adaptable to variances in workflow. Good problem-solving skills.
The knowledge. Excellent keyboarding skills and knowledge of PC (Windows, Microsoft Office).
The drive. Enthusiastic and innovative.
