Job Summary
We are a healthcare staffing agency seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring quality patient care. This position requires Licensed Nurses with expertise in patient care, acute care in the setting of long-term care, retirement and hospital settings.

Duties

Nurses

Undertake a variety of responsibilities, encompassing patient care, communication, and health promotion.
Promote health, the prevention of illness, and the restoration of health.
Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' health, monitor vital signs, and gather health histories to inform clinical decisions.
Administer medications, dress wounds, and provide additional measures for symptom relief.
Play a crucial role in safeguarding patients' rights and assisting them in navigating the complexities of the health care system.
Meticulously observe and interpret patients' symptoms, conveying pertinent information to physicians to facilitate appropriate medical interventions.
Actively listen to patients, offering counseling and health education to enhance their understanding of health-related issues.
Collaborate with other health care professionals to formulate individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
Provide essential health care education to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge to make informed decisions about their health.
Engage in initiatives aimed at promoting health and preventing illness within the community.
Coordinate care in conjunction with other health care providers.
Assist patients and their families in comprehending and adapting to their health care journeys.

Requirements

Nurses

Completion of a Nursing Education Program
Successful completion of the RN/RPN Jurisprudence Examination is mandatory.
You must successfully complete the registration examination approved by the Ontario College corresponding to the type of nursing (RN or RPN) you wish to pursue
It is necessary to provide evidence of recent nursing practice experience.
You must successfully complete the registration examination approved by the Ontario College corresponding to the type of nursing (RN or RPN) you wish to pursue.
You are required to demonstrate proficiency in English.
You must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or possess authorization under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) that permits you to engage in nursing practice in Ontario.
You must accurately disclose whether you have ever been found guilty of an offence, refused registration, had a finding against you related to the practice of nursing or another profession, or are currently involved in certain legal proceedings.
You are required to declare any physical or mental condition or disorder that may impair your ability to practice nursing safely. Additionally, the College must be assured of your commitment to practicing with decency, honesty, integrity, and in compliance with applicable laws.
