NewAge Products is looking for an enthusiastic individual to become a part of our team. As a Part-Time Experience Centre Sales Associate, you will be reporting to the Experience Centre Manager of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and Driving Sales by providing customer-centric experience. They are also responsible for identifying and working cross functionally to execute current and incremental sales driving activity through existing customers and net new sales channels.
Our Experience Centre Sales Associate is a seasoned sales and retail veteran and a naturally charismatic individual. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and conversion, by embodying our company mission to improve everything we touch, using a customer-centric approach, to achieve measured growth. You will build a strong rapport with your customers, by utilizing, training, development, and overall management of a dynamic store team that will help promote NewAge Products within your assigned market.
You will be challenged to support your team's sales performance by driving sales. Supporting the company's Marketing initiatives such as Roadshows with our Brand Partners such as Costco, Home Depot etc., which includes traveling from time to time. You will be tasked with identifying events in the local market that will maximize NewAge Products' brand exposure. You will be measured and rewarded by your ability to achieve targets and drive optimal team performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Experience Centre Vertical, by being motivated to drive sales and meet assigned sales targets, and productivity goals through customer education and product knowledge, delivering excellent service and merchandise presentation and promotion.
- Identify products or service offerings not currently provided in the NewAge catalog and provide recommendations to the leadership / cross-functional teams to have these added based on customer feedback – test and learn various products and services within the market.
- Be a product knowledge expert – understand every element of every product NewAge offers to draw on during product demonstrations as the opportunities present themselves.
- Demonstrate sales leadership by role-playing and having an active presence in customer-facing locations.
- Support the Experience Centre by Driving Sales and overall efficiency.
- Supporting different verticals within the organization, i.e. Sales development, Marketing initiatives, and In-home consultation Vertical, by developing a Customer Centric experience, promoting products and services by being fluent in all aspects of product knowledge
- Analyze data to determine optimal business strategies.
- Support the Store Manager and your team by meeting your individual monthly goals.
- Partner with Marketing to identify local marketing and event opportunities to drive sales.
- Drive for Excellence in all areas of business focused on reaching P&L expectations for the respective location.
- You will be required to use your personal vehicle for this role, in which you will be reimbursed 0.68 per Kilometer for extended travel requirements when supporting Roadshows and other company initiatives.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- You will be handling online video demonstrations for most of your shift, so it is important that you are comfortable being on camera
- You will be spending a significant amount of time on your feet as you walk the VEC space pivoting from product to product and demonstrating various features
- Scripting and blocking will be outlined to provide customers with maximum information and visibility of NewAge products
- Certain demonstrations will require you to interact deeply with our products to demonstrate strength & quality – this may include lifting large objects to illustrate weight capacity, climbing on top of items, and other general physical activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years’ experience working in a retail environment with a` proven history to meet or exceed goals.
- Self-starting entrepreneur with exceptional management and coaching skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adhere to business-critical deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dedicated and ethical approach to sales and sales operations
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships acting as a well-respected, trusted partner with whom others want to work.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment that includes standing for extended periods of your shift.
- Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 10:30am-7pm, Sat/Sun 9am-6pm; flexibility regarding these hours is required.
- Roadshows schedule will vary between 9am and 9pm (Mon-Fri) 9am-7pm (Sat &Sun)
