We are hunting for elite inbound sales people to join our team. This is a largely results based sales role with high income potential. Our top performers earn 150-300k driving sales for the business.
As sales manager for Shine Windows and The Deck People, you’ll be selling home services to high-end new and repeat clients. This is NOT a casual job you can just walk into and expect to win with minimal effort.

The Company:
Shine Windows and The Deck People were established in 2019. Created by two graduates after they realized that there was a large gap in the market. They noticed that home maintenance was a broken industry for both customers and employees, so they decided to fix it by starting their own business. Today, there are 40 people on the team and Shine/The Deck People is Toronto’s leading exterior maintenance company.
Daily responsibilities:
Take charge of your own pipeline from lead to closed deal, turning initial conversations into recurring business opportunities. Day-to-day you will reach out to existing and new customers, understand their needs, and show how we can solve their problems. Your schedule will change throughout the seasons.
Mid January-March: You will contact both warm and hot leads and learn how to qualify customers. You will contact existing customers to book recurring work for the season. 40% of our revenue comes from calling existing clients. There is little to NO COLD-CALLING.
March-November: You will close deals with existing customers over the phone and book new customers by meeting them at their home for in person estimates. Since homeowners tend to be at work during the day, we work around their schedules by meeting them when they are home in the evenings and on weekends.
November-mid December: Most selling is over the phone
Mid December - Mid January: Vacation
When you are not on the phone with customers, you will communicate with other departments to ensure your customers are receiving top-tier service. You will work closely with producing to ensure proper communication of job details.

Responsibilities:
- Minimum hours:
- Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM,
- Weekends 8 AM - 5 PM to meet clients at their home for in-person sales when they are home from work (depends on time of year and demand)
- Call past clients from our list, provide pricing, and re-sell them annual work
- Call new leads and sell small jobs over the phone
- Qualify clients
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Move prospects into closed deals
- Maintain a clear, up to date pipeline in the CRM
- Follow up with potential clients
- Educate prospects from an expert perspective
- Allow head of sales to shadow calls and give feedback
- Collaborate with team to ensure smooth transitions along customer journey
Results:
- All prospects move along CRM pipeline correctly with proper admin
- A close rate of 75% or higher at in person estimates is maintained
- All qualified leads are followed up with urgency
- Sales stats updated daily by 6 PM
- Effective and prompt communication to team
- Follow internal communication processes
- Reply to emails, slacks, texts within 3 hours, 7 days a week
Requirements
- Must have your own vehicle - you will be driving to sites within GTA
- Must have laptop/cell phone with data
- This role will vary between in person and work from home throughout the year
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Handle constructive criticism, have no issue being lead by strong A type personalities and not have an ego
- Excellent communicator over phone/in person
- Routine driven

- Able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure/stress, have a sense of urgency and pride in workmanship
