Job Overview
We are looking for a Sales Representative to build on our success selling Westcott Vineyards’ wines to restaurants and hospitality establishments across Ontario. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, this is an exciting growth position for an ambitious individual who is eager to build a career in the wine industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in wine appreciation and have an evangelical desire to introduce Ontario restaurants and their guests to the exceptional wines being made in their backyard.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with restaurant and hospitality clients in Ontario, with a focus on the GTA.
- Promote and sell Westcott Vineyards’ portfolio of wines to a diverse range of restaurants, ensuring placement and visibility of our wines on wine lists.
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, and wine education events for restaurant staff and decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients, with a focus on expanding Westcott Vineyards’ presence in the Ontario market.
- Collaborate with the marketing and winemaking teams to stay informed about new wine releases, product developments, and brand messaging.
- Work closely with the sales manager to develop sales strategies, set targets, and achieve goals for the region. Bring us your ideas!
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and feedback.
- Represent Westcott Vineyards at trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, hospitality, etc.)
- Completion of additional wine appreciation courses (e.g., WSET, sommelier certification, or equivalent).
- Strong interest in the wine industry and a desire to learn about winemaking, wine regions, and the wine trade.
- Sales experience preferred, particularly in the food and beverage, hospitality, or wine industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while also collaborating with a team.
- Willingness to travel within Ontario to meet clients and attend industry events.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Pay: $60,000.00-$82,669.00 per year
