Position Focus:
As a Systems Administrator and Desktop Support Specialist, you will provide first-line technical support to end users, resolving service interruptions swiftly and maintaining system reliability. Working with the Team Lead – Systems Administration, you’ll manage infrastructure systems and ensure seamless IT service delivery.
This role requires a strong background in Microsoft-based environments, desktop/PC expertise, and familiarity with server and network systems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking, and communicate effectively. A passion for delivering excellent client experiences and a willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and system issues.
• Maintain hardware, including repairs and vendor follow-ups.
• Assist with software implementation and document technical resolutions.
• Administer and manage user accounts (ERP/Active Directory).
• Manage hardware/software inventory and licensing.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, antivirus, and Windows updates.
• Stay updated on industry technologies and trends.
• Provide occasional on-site support and assist with after-hours tasks.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 3 years in IT support or a desktop/PC environment.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
• Proficiency with Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office (2013–2021), Azure AD, and Office 365.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper-V, SQL, SAN, Veeam Backup, and SIP-based phone systems (preferred).
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and customer service excellence.
• Professional certifications and a valid driver’s license are assets.
