The Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Able to work an evening shift from 3pm to 11:30pm
- Able to make new parts, components related to all machinery with minimum assistance.
- Able to maintain, make and assemble repairs and replacement to dies, shears, cut-offs, knives or replace anything related to the machinery with minimum assistance.
- Adhere to all Life Savings Rules, including Lock out tag/out (LOTO), Machine guarding, / Bypassing safety controls, powered industrials Truck (PIT) safety protocols; OHSA, Safety Policies.
- Adhere and follow to all other Atkore policies, such as harassment, free workplace of Drug and alcohol, Respect and Harassment, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One to two (1 to 2) years of Tool & Die Mechanic experience is required.
- One to two (1 to 2) years of manufacturing and fabrication experience is required.
- Eager and interested to learn continuously in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both as a member of a team, or as an individual contributor.
- Ability to stand on their feet for the duration of the workday.
- Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong oral and written skills in the English language.
