A Day In The Life
The inside sales specialist will focus on customer acquisition and sales penetration to grow Key's market share. The role will positively impact our brand perception across western Canada. The position involves cold calling new potential clients, referrals and leads, providing prospective and current clients with our service offerings. If you have a sales background, are goal-oriented, energetic, self-motivated with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Acts on new leads and prospects warm leads to find new clients.
- Uses negotiation skills to close deals.
- Communicates with existing customers regarding their needs.
- Coordinates with PMP team to retain PMP contracts and execute new contracts.
- Creates genuine connections and long-term business partnerships with our existing and desired client bases.
- Researches potential leads from business directories, web searches or digital resources.
- Creates and maintains a database of prospective clients.
- Presents and delivers information to potential clients, answering any inquiries.
What You Will Bring
- Previous sales experience in the food service or hospitality industries an asset
- Previous experience in outbound call centers, inside sales experience or related sales experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
