As a Talent & Training Administrator working in the Talent, Culture and Leadership team at Pomerleau Construction, you will provide key administrative and coordination support to the HR Team. Supporting our work on large scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will report directly to the Senior Director of Talent Culture and Leadership and gain valuable experience, further enhancing the development and growth your HR experience.
What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support on a wide range of HR and Talent Development activities including employee onboarding and offboarding, learning and development plans, DEI initiatives and expense reporting.
- Provide active participation in National HR related projects.
- Support our existing employee base with administrative HR-related tasks including training registrations, verification letters, anniversaries, and Bamboo setup.
- Expand your experience through opportunities to actively learn, participate and facilitate various training sessions.
- Update and maintain training manuals and materials with relevant content and brand alignment.
- Take ownership with our Learning Management System in session creation and attendance tracking, report creation and monitoring, inputting learning assignments, and curating content.
- Support the evaluation of existing programs for ROI and opportunities for enhancement.
- Support the team with HR event planning and logistics and administration setup for various training programs.
This role could be for you if you have
- 2–5 years of experience working in an administrative or HR capacity
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant experience.
- A proven track record of coordination and team collaboration.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in both official languages.
- A passion for building relationships and creating exceptional client experiences.
- Fluency in both official languages is considered an asset.
