Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in payroll software and an understanding of accounting principles, making it essential for the successful execution of payroll functions within the organization. The successful incumbent will also provide back up support to our Accounts Payable function.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Perform data entry tasks related to payroll processing and ensure accuracy in all entries.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes as they relate to payroll.
- Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or issues and resolve them promptly.
- Assist with accounts payable functions as needed, ensuring timely payment of invoices related to payroll services.
- Utilize our payroll system Ceridian for efficient processing and reporting.
- Prepare reports related to payroll metrics for management review.
Skills- Mandatory
- Proficiency and experience in using Ceridian is a requirement
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payroll administration.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and provide insights based on findings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members across departments.
- Familiarity with human resources processes as they relate to payroll is a plus.
