As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project. The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems.
Objective
- Ensure delivery and quality of the documentation in compliance with signaling strategies.
- Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards
- Ensure team KPIs and reporting is done in a timely manner
- Track and advise all managers to ensure project milestones are achieved
Responsibilities
In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards:
- Ensure all documentation is prepared and issued prior to commencement of all site works.
- Ensure that all access requirements are planned and delivered in accordance with local regulations
- Ensure planned possessions meet programme and operational requirements.
- Review work content with planning, project management team and client to ensure access plan is understood and suitable to task.
- Assist in the provision of site specific information packs for Task PIC’s.
- Manage the DML in conjuntion with managers and planning department for weekly alignment and KPI reporting
- Generate and maintain Team KPIs for reporting
- Support all managers with allocated tasks
- Manage the subcontactor time sheets and invoice process
- Ensure all requirments are tracked and in compliance with internal audits
- Generate and maintain weekly and monthly maanagment reporting
Performance measurements
- QCDP (quality, cost, delivery and performance)
- Savings through Risk mitigation and Opportunities management
- Quality, EHS, RSA (Railway Safety Agencies): monitoring, anticipation and reporting on progress and issues
Education & Experience
- Strong project managment skills
- 3+ years of experience in projects
- Cost and planning control experience
- Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives
- Knowledge of contract conditions
- Understanding of planning process and project reporting
- Knowledge of risk assessment process
- Knowledge of EHS regulations
