Inventory & Administration Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Administration Staff member with experience in Shopify and order management to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations related to product stocking, shipping, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce systems, particularly Shopify, and be able to efficiently handle inventory management and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using Shopify.
- Monitor stock levels, forecast inventory needs, and reorder products as necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure product availability.
- Track incoming and outgoing stock to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Order Processing:
- Process online orders efficiently via Shopify, ensuring prompt shipment and accurate tracking.
- Communicate with customers regarding order statuses, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle order discrepancies and resolve issues as needed.
- Work closely with the shipping team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with product data entry and updates in the Shopify system.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and product performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock levels and deliveries.
- Perform general office tasks such as answering emails, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting with administrative duties as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service via email, phone, and chat for order-related inquiries.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Previous experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and order processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative support.
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.82-$20.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
