Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Junior National Account Executive to join our National Advertising Agency team at Pattison Outdoor. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a successful sales team. You will work alongside senior sales professionals, assist with the sales process, and support client relationships to drive revenue growth in outdoor advertising.
What you'll do...
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify potential clients within the outdoor advertising sector (e.g., agencies).
- Research and develop leads through various sources, including databases, social media, and industry events.
- Assist in building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects.
Sales Support:
- Assist senior sales representatives with presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions.
- Support the creation of quotes, contracts, and follow-up communication.
Client Relationship Management:
- Help manage existing client accounts by providing regular communication, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Attend client meetings with senior sales representatives to understand requirements and present outdoor advertising options.
- Follow up with potential and current clients to ensure the timely execution of contracts and campaigns.
Campaign Tracking and Reporting:
- Assist in monitoring the performance of outdoor advertising campaigns.
- Provide feedback to senior sales team on client needs and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications in the CRM system.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
Who you are...
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Prior experience at an advertising agency and or 1-3 years in sales, outdoor advertising is a plus but not required.
- A passion for sales and a keen interest in the advertising industry.
