Amber Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Digital Assets Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing digital asset transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital asset markets, blockchain technology, and financial regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Job responsibilities
- Provide support for digital asset trades, online banking transactions, borrow/lending, monitor failed trades, deal with exceptional and un-reconciled items
- Responsible for accurate trade processing and settlement in a timely manner within prescribed control procedures.
- Ensure completeness and timeliness of daily transactions and report exceptional cases
- Ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance of internal/external regulations and market practice
- Review all outstanding cases for any risky issues, violations of procedures and monitor follow-ups
- Highly-developed organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Dedicated team player who works well independently and as part of a team
Skills we are looking for
- Proficient in dealing with various financial instruments, experience in assets such as FX, Derivatives , Futures, Options, Swaps is a plus.
- Reconcile any discrepancies on the accounting books of Amber against its counterparties.
- Excellent abilities in Microsoft Office, particularly in EXCEL
- Fluent in English and additional language skills are a positive
- Strong logic and analytical skills in relations to identifying patterns, core issues and initiating improvements processes
- Able to work on weekends. Digital asset markets are open 7 days a week and the successful candidate will help us cover on weekends.
