About The Role
We are hiring a
Junior Art Director to join our hybrid onsite team in Toronto working with one of our large financial clients! We’re looking for a creative that’s also a maker – one that will concept ideas and designs. This role will join a creative team led by a Creative Director and collaborating with Senior Art Directors, Design Leads, Copywriters and Producers to create social, digital, print, video, digital content and more. What You Will Be Doing
- Work alongside a copywriter to concept and execute D2C, B2B and internal corporate campaigns – bringing to life brand communications in social, digital, traditional and experiential spaces
- Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
- Collaborate with account team members and strategists on client needs
- Take work from concept to final execution within assigned deadlines
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices – especially AI
What You Need To Be Great In This Role
- 1-3 years of agency experience with a conceptual portfolio
- Degree or equivalent in related field
- Have design chops for the social, digital, and print space
- A creative with a passion for impactful and effective campaigns
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent illustration skills are an asset
- Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience managing art pipelines working to tight deadlines
- A thorough understanding of photography, typography and printing
- Ability to adapt your art style and work quickly delivering high quality work
- Any experience with financial clients would be an asset
