About this team
The Retention Marketing Specialist leads execution of email and app push marketing campaigns. This role reports to the Retention Marketing Operations Manager and works closely with all members of the Retention Marketing team to elevate, innovate, and execute the many daily email and push touchpoints, as well as automated multi-channel programs.
You believe in the power and purpose of our retention strategy objectives, and take ownership of each stage of the journey, from concept to coding to deployment and optimization. A day in the life: what you’ll do
- Design, build, and execute data-driven retargeting and automated marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Utilize technical skills in HTML, CSS, dynamic logic, and automation setup to ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, MarTech, Merch, etc.) to deliver high-quality emails and push notifications.
- Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including marketing teams and IT developers, to align on campaign goals and execution.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize results and enhance customer lifetime value.
- Partner with Retention and Digital Marketing teams to manage weekly campaigns in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Drive innovation in automation and multi-channel journey execution for email and push campaigns.
- Implement and optimize scalable processes and best practices for efficiency and automation.
- Manage projects from concept to deployment, addressing challenges with creative problem-solving.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners to align with channel objectives.
- Report and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and guest engagement.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in email/push marketing and automation, preferably in B2C and retail environments.
- Proficient in HTML and CSS; basic knowledge of SQL, table structures, and data ingestion.
- Intermediate experience with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with email personalization tools like Salesforce Personalization is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to QA and proof campaigns extensively.
- Basic experience with reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI) or a strong willingness to learn.
- Foundational knowledge of executing automated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience with A/B and multi-variate testing methodologies.
- Excellent communicator with collaborative teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to handle pressure, solve problems, and adapt with flexibility.
- Passionate about digital marketing trends and best practices, with a keen interest in the digital space.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in ambiguous or changing environments.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000 - $86,600 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program subject to program eligibility requirements.
