Shoppe Associate - Part-time

Shifts are typically 4-6 hours long.
The selected candidates will have:
- Availability on two weekdays and one weekend day preferred (availability on Saturdays and Tuesdays is a requirement)
- Availability for 3 days a week minimum at all times (candidate is expected to maintain this availability)
- Retail or tennis experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Competitive hourly rate at $21.20, plus generous staff discount
- Great retail hours - Monday - Wednesday: 8:30am-6pm; Thursday /Friday: 8:30am-7pm; Saturday/Sunday: 9:30am - 5pm.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Greeting members with the highest level of customer service and building relationships with members and staff
- Communicating with other Staff and Management (i.e. low inventory, special orders, member feedback or inquiries)
- Understanding and maintaining the knowledge of current products and services, as well as industry trends
- Willing to learn how to string tennis racquets and assist members and guests with their purchases using the POS system
- Assisting with inventory count and organizing storage spaces
- Maintaining the displays and keeping the Shoppe looking tidy and organized
- Additional tasks and projects as requested by Management
Requirements & Qualifications
- Outgoing and customer-centric personality, able to build strong relationships with members
- Experience in fitness retail is an asset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to work under pressure with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Previous retail, customer service or hospitality experience is required
- Previous experience in the private Club industry considered an asset
- Must be able to go up and down a ladder
- Sports or Tennis background an asset
