Job description – Project Coordinator

We are currently looking to hire a Project Coordinator. This position best suits an organized, self-motivated individual who is technologically savvy, has excellent communication skills, a mature approach to their work, and an ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to inquiries and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will take pride in the accuracy of their work.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders including clients, designers, builders, and architects to ensure all parties are aware of the progress on their project, changes, action items and deadlines.
- Assist in the file start-up, monitor progress, and prepare purchase orders, modify proposals, and execute change orders as necessary.
- Follow through on all related action items resulting from client meetings.
- Verify contract and order details to ensure accuracy.
- Prioritize and follow up on action items in a timely manner.
- Help support order processing operations.
- Coordinates project through to installation and completion
- Prioritize activities from multiple files.
- Assist team members as necessary.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Civil Engineering or Architecture preferred)
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience and must have windows and doors experience
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in CAD for blueprint drawings would be an asset
- Experience with SharePoint would be an asset
- Able to work independently with minimal direction and to work well with others
