We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the real estate and property industry, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role encompasses a variety of tasks including processing of customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This position also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
Maintain up-to-date customer credit records
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
Engage in data entry tasks related to utilities accounts payable and coding
Conduct vendor reconciliations and statement reviews
Update WorkSafe and Certificate of Insurance records
Handle commercial accounts payable and purchase orders
Utilize software tools such as Yardi and Excel for various tasks
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of property codes
Entry-level position, no prior experience required, however, experience in a similar role is a plus
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
Ability to accurately code invoices
Strong data entry skills are necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
Experience with Yardi property management software is a plus
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge of the Real Estate & Property industry is advantageous.
