Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Tracker, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties when required, including answering phones and greeting patients.
- Support pediatric and orthodontic procedures as necessary, demonstrating patience and understanding with younger patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software applications such as Tracker is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience with pediatric and orthodontic dentistry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Certification in Dental Assisting training is preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.63 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
