JOB OBJECTIVE
A position is available starting January 6, 2025 for a full-time Receptionist. Managing the reception area and also helping out as an Office Assistant in our Vancouver office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work in a varied, challenging and progressive environment. WORK DESCRIPTION
• Reception: Receive, screen and route phone calls using a multi-line switchboard. Relaying messages, receiving and announcing visitors to internal staff and our building tenants.
• Office Assistant: Receiving/collecting expense receipts from traveling staff and organizing expense reports for the accounting department.
• Corporate Travel Booking: Booking flights, hotels and car rentals for business travel.
• Logistics: Shipping and receiving courier packages. Generating customs invoices for international shipments.
• Office Administration: Maintaining office supply levels.
• Administrative Support: Typing memos and meeting minutes. Supporting engineers in their administrative tasks. Office lease document preparation.
• Assist in document control, including filing and data entry.
- • Organizing luncheons and coordinating office events.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS
• Minimum Grade 12 graduate.
• Strong computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment.
• Excellent computer productivity software skills (MS Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat). Must be strong in using Excel.
• Candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Starting salary of $4,000 per month plus benefits. Candidates interviewed will be ask to answer a skill testing question using Microsoft Excel.
