REMUNERATION, BENEFITS, HOURS
- Salary placement ranges from $41,000 to $58,000 and will depend on years of experience, skills, and expertise
- Discretionary bonuses for exceeding targets

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues through effective communication and professionalism
- Experience as an legal assistant is an advantage but we will train the right candidate even if they have no experience.
- Post-secondary education required.
- High level professional English (CLB 9 or higher) required.
- Excellent proofreading, spelling, grammar, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a positive approach to challenges
- Thrives in a dynamic environment with diverse tasks and deadlines
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, professional documents.
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent client support, including gathering documents, preparing correspondence, and maintaining effective communication
- Prepare correspondence and gather necessary client information for immigration applications
- Draft immigration applications for team and client review
- Cross-train in reception and invoicing to support team operations when needed.
- Respond to telephone, email, and in-person enquiries and arrange consultations
- Perform clerical duties, such as mail processing, word processing, form filling, scanning and photocopying, and precise electronic document labelling and filing.
- Strictly maintain calendaring of general office deadlines, important dates, and BF system
