Purpose:

Under the management of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Dispatcher will maximize fleet efficiency by scheduling and coordinating the delivery activities of drivers as trained and specified in the company’s Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

Assign daily delivery of medical equipment and coordinate run schedules
Communicate required maintenance and repairs of vehicle fleet
Perform general housekeeping duties
Report and escalate all delivery deficiencies to the appropriate department
Ensure all delivery documentation is complete/submitted in a timely manner
Learn and help daily with medical equipment picking and packing
Use computer skills to create reports, and to monitor orders and routes
Willing to learn and work between two lines of business (Dispatching and Equipment)

Qualifications:

Completion of high school
Minimum 1-year full time working experience as a dispatcher
Good knowledge of the working areas and mapping logistics
Health and safety awareness training is an asset

Team Player – Willing to help in what is needed
Candidate must demonstrate organization, flexibility, adaptability, and sound time management skills.
Candidates must be computer literate
Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
