Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Jack Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving products and materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that inventory is organized, accessible, and ready for distribution. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to transport goods within the facility.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Assist in order picking processes, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
- Maintain an organized workspace by properly storing materials and keeping aisles clear.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks in the workplace.
Skills
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Experience in warehouse distribution environments, understanding workflow processes.
- Proficiency in operating clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment as needed.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels.

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
